The dealership opened in the summer of 1983 as a New Holland dealership. Thomas Taege had been working for New Holland and purchased the building to open the business. In 2000 the Case IH line was brought in. We service the thumb of Michigan which includes: Sanilac, Huron, Tuscola, St Clair, and Lapeer counties.
Today the dealership belongs to David Taege. Four of the employees hired at the start of the dealership are still employed today. TNT employs 27 full time people. There are five fully equipped service trucks that provide service at the farms and in the fields.
The auto guidance portion of the business has grown quickly and become an important part of farming operations. There are RTK towers located throughout our area that we have put up and maintain.
In April 2016 a fire destroyed about 2/3 of our facility which was the shop and wash area. We are currently rebuilding which will include the storefront and offices. The new building is being attached to the current store and parts warehouse that was not burnt. We are looking forward to the expansion and having the capability to serve our customers better than ever. You can follow the project on our facebook page.
